Our company was founded in 1959 in Saint John, New Brunswick as a division of J.D. Irving, Limited.

Though we're now one of Atlantic Canada's leading business to business providers in the areas of Apparel & Promotional Products, Alarm & Communications, Industrial Supplies, Office Environments, Safety Supplies and Sanitation & Food Service Supplies, we started out much more humbly with a focus on supplying provisions to the shipping industry.

Gradually, we expanded our areas of expertise and opened branch offices to better serve customers across Atlantic Canada. In 2002, we purchased R&A Paper Products Ltd, which formed the foundation of our new office in Sydney, Nova Scotia. In 2007, we purchased Enviro Chemicals Ltd., significantly enhancing the capabilities of our sanitation division. In 2011, we acquired Specialty Apparel in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, allowing us to offer our customers custom-manufactured Apparel and expands our range to include all of Atlantic Canada. Finally, in 2019 we acquired B & B Sales allowing us to increase our offering in Newfoundland and add a new product line of Food Service supplies.
